TEAM HINGA California-
Team Hinga then grew into a SoCal crew that Booney started up and has slowly been trying to piece together a crew of some of SD/Socals most active drivers. All having their own abilities and seperate experiences, Booney brought them into the crew with Team Work, Loyalty and Dedication at the forefront of his decisions. We trust he'll do the correct thing. When Booney left Okinawa,Chris and Booney had several late night hill top discussions about Booneys task at hand and his endeavors. Booney made several promises taking on this crew and we intend to hold our Blacksheep bro to them. Team Hinga California has big shoes to fill and in time will, right Booney?!
Hinga California line up:
Booney (vrtblacksheep)- sold his 86 to a good friend of his. hes also in the middle of the build of the grey goose II. it will still be rb20 powered with all the booney bells and wistles
Sid - (vrtsid, the great silver back) his miata has been down for a while because of installation of a turbo kit. the after amrket ecu setup he bought didnt work out so hes waiting on getting another set up. until then, its going back to NA, at least he can get back out there and play!
Marco -(Cos) Drives a Hachi Roku and in time will finally get in running again so he can get back to some auto-X and drifting.
Mike(vrtmike) -all the same except i have that black 180 now and i am the head course worker for drift buffet. I will be going to China for a month for World Drift Series(which drift buffet is in association with)4 city stops on of which is beijing. we will be drifting in the 2008 olyimpic stadium
Matt (hothatch)- had a s13, the "ugly duckling" but sold it so that he could buy a house for his family. he is now the proud owner of the bent and crooked piglet that was once rays car. hes in the process of getting that beat up car back in running order
Ray (Fourrayg) had bought a 20v 86 out in virgina but was stolen when he was out to sea. not sure what hes rocking now.
Mark X- A toyota tech and friend Booney met in cali. Brilliant mech and better driver (How many guys to ya see doing high speed drifts without clutch kicks or sidebraking....
Chris rea(Shinchu) - lives in yokosuka for 8 more months then he will return to the cali hinga fold with his 400ps kouki s14.
Cyrus (SexySlide) - we met cyrus at drift circuit 2. before the event started, he went up to booney and told him he deserved a hinga sticker. he proved himself that day and earned his place in the team. Cyrus' crazy goofy personality fit in well with the rest of us wierdos in the crew. his 86 has gone through some changes since he joined.he had a 16v w/20ITBs that he blew up. he then switched it up and got himself a 20v tuned my haltech and is now sponsored by dunlop.
Roger (Roger Hinga)- booney met roger when he was still in the marines. roger showed lots of interest in drifting and wanted to learn anything and everything. he was brought into the crew with open arms. he brought with him a silvia converted s13 and became our third silva which soon enough were all painted the team color at the time:battleship grey. soon after joining, roger left the marines and moved back home to arizona. roger set himself up with a new job and bought a condo. with no sight of coming back to cali, roger asked booney if he could start a crew out there. booney gave him the ok and is now heading up Hinga AZ.
