I've owned many 86's throught the years, but none stuck on me like my girl "Blue". I moved back to Okinawa back in 1999, As soon as I got settled in, I began my search for a Levin. I asked around everywhere, finally I got a lead on one. This guy Disney I knew from back in the day had one. She was a puke green zenki Levin coupe. She was beat to shit, the rear fenders were pushed in, she had scratches everywhere, multicolored panels, missing parts. She may have been ugly to most people, but to me she was a beauty. So I give Disney $1000 and drove her home. On the way home she starts smoking and overheating, I pull over and check under the oil cap. The oil looked like chocolate milk (Head Gasket), so I limped her home. Since I had just arrived on Okinawa, everything I owned was still in transit, including my tools. So I took her to the shop (George Motors) next to my apartment and told the old guy to swap gaskets. The head ended up being warped so he shaved it a bit and threw everything back together. It cost me $400 and 2 weeks for him to do a job that would have taken me maybe 2 hours to do. Fuck it, she was running good so I was content. I took her home and immediately start bodywork on her. After some decent bodywork, I take her over to FatDaddy's for paint, had her painted Calsonic Blue on a panda scheme. I played with her alot over the years, trying new suspension combos, engine mods, MANY diffs and body mods. She always ran great, never let me down, till I put the aftermarket ECU in with rev cut eliminator and a few other things. So I throw it in and head to the track, I'm out there beatin on her totally forgetting that I'm bouncing the tach off of 10k. Eventually after a few track days of doing this she eventually shit a rod bearing. So instead of just changing the bearings out like I should have, I went and bought a AE101 GZE motor with plans of supercharging the old girl. My brother Will and I did a little brainstormin and decided to go turbo on Blue since it was cheaper. So after a bunch of trial and errors we get her running the morning of drift comp. I totally wasn't ready for that, haha. Blue ran like a raped ape, extremely fast for what I was used to. She was fast but not as fun to drive as N/A, I missed stompin on the pedal while in a slide, with turbo I had to pussyfoot the gas, she was very tempermental. So I drove her and played with her for another year before parking her. I bought a 87 AE86 Kouki Trueno (WhiteGirl) and neglected old Blue. Kaze had been in love with Blue since he could walk, so every other day he was telling me to work on her. I kept telling him I'd get to it, but never did. I inherited a 180sx from FatDaddy, so now I had two new cars to play with and Blue just sat there in the elements rotting away. After a couple of years Noah, Kaze, and I were cruising around and saw a beautiful Levin 3door in Awase. Kaze said I want my Hachiroku to look like that. I promised
